1) When I arrive at the airport do I have to let the landlord know?
Since we are not a hotel and therefore do not have a reception, we ask that you please call the landlord when you arrive at the airport. By doing this you enable the landlord to arrive punctually to meet you for your apartment check-in.

2) How far is the apartment from the train station and Piazzale Roma?
It depends on the apartment, but roughly 15 minutes by foot or in water taxi and 30 minutes by Vaporetto (water bus).

3) At what time can I check into the apartment? What time is check-out?
Check-in: From 3:00pm to 8:00pm
Check-out: before 10:00am

4) Can I arrive after 8:00pm?
Yes, you can arrive between 8:00pm and Midnight by paying a 50 Euro surcharge. Arriving after midnight is not possible.

5) Can I check in before 3:00pm?
Yes, if the apartment is available. To check whether this is possible, please contact us a few days before your arrival.

6) Where can I leave my luggage if I arrive before 3:00pm or after if I leave after 10:00am?
You can leave your luggage in the Baggage Check in either the train station or Piazzale Roma.

7) How go I get to the apartment?

n the Confirmation Voucher you will find directions to the apartment from the airport, the train station, or Piazzale Roma. A meeting point will be indicated in the voucher, where our assistant will be waiting for you to show you the apartment, complete the necessary paperwork, and give you the keys.

8) What happens if I lose the keys or if I forget the keys inside the apartment?
If you lose the keys you must immediately inform our agency. There is a 70 Euro charge for changing the locks. This is also true if you lock yourself out of the apartment.

9) How should I leave the apartment?

At check-out the landlord will check that there has not been any damage and that the apartment has been left in the same condition that it was given. You will give the keys back and if you left a cash security deposit at check-in, it will be given back.

10) Can the apartment only be rented from Saturday to Saturday?

No, it can be rented any day of the week.

11) Does the price of the apartment include everything?

The price includes everything for up to a 7 day stay: gas, electricity, bed and bath linens, and the final cleaning. Weekly linen changes are included for stays of more than 7 days. Utilities are excluded for stays of more then 7 days.

12) Can I pay with credit card?

Yes. We accept VISA and MASTERCARD for the payment of the deposit .

14) How will I receive the reservation confirmation?

We will send you a Voucher by e-mail or fax.

15) What is the security deposit?

It is an amount of money that the landlord takes as a guarantee against damage . The money will be given back in full after it is confirmed at check-out that there have not been any damages to the apartment.

16) Are there any rules that must be respected when I am in the apartment?

Other than the normal rules of common courtesy please do not smoke, do not make noise that could disturb the neighbors, respect the common areas of the building, and do not leave the garbage out after 8:00am. In Venice there are very expensive fines for those who leave garbage out past certain hours. If you can not leave your garbage out before 8:00am you must take it to the large communal bins located throughout the city.

18) Will the apartment that I originally bookrd be substitued or changed?
No, if should not happen unless:

- Damage to the property caused by external factors ( plumbing, electric, flooding, etc). Any situation that the agency deems insufficient or dangerous for the stay of our guestes.

-Venice Holidays will do what is possible to accommodate its guests in an apartments of similar standard and size to the one that was originally booked.
